Regarding on-the-spot inspections by the Japan Fair Trade Commission (This news was published in Japanese on Sep. 13, 2016)
Toyobo STC Co., Ltd., a Toyobo subsidiary, today received on-the-spot inspections by the Japan Fair Trade Commission over suspicions it had violated the Antimonopoly Act when it provided uniforms respectively used by East Japan Railway Co. and West Japan Railway Co. to uniform sales companies.
Toyobo and Toyobo STC are treating this situation with sincerity and gravity, and will cooperate fully with the inspections.
