Toyobo Group’s integrated report, “TOYOBO REPORT 2025” released
Toyobo Co., Ltd. has released its integrated report, “TOYOBO REPORT 2025,” and published it on its website. The report highlights progress made in the “measures for businesses requiring improvement” and the “secure growth investment returns,” as included in the 2025 Medium-Term Management Plan*1. In addition, it focuses on the outlook to “create new value,” while systematically presenting the achievements and future prospects of its measures.
The report also infuses a coherent narrative into its information to deepen understanding of Toyobo’s endeavors. It was edited with a focus on the following three key points to inspire stakeholders’ expectations for its future, while also outlining the path Toyobo has taken to recover the earning power and realize prosperity under the corporate philosophy of “Jun-Ri-Soku-Yu (Adhering to Reason Leads to Prosperity).”
| 1. | The report enhanced the interconnectedness of messages from the CEO and other officers by having each convey their determination for challenges and growth from their respective standpoints and perspectives. |
| 2. | In the “Source of Value Creation” section, the report features business examples involving polarizer protective films for LCDs, COSMOSHINE SRF®, a mainstay product, to explain the “Value Creation Cycle (Business model)” in a concrete manner. The business model has been adopted to realize the company’s ideal state: “a group that continues to create the solutions needed by people and the earth.” |
| 3. | The report aims to deepen stakeholders' understanding and empathy by including features and specific examples of Toyobo’s initiatives — designed to support steady implementation of the 2025 Medium-Term Management Plan — in the corporate and business strategy sections. |
